Feedback Control Model
We have all seen activities that continue to get done in the same way year in year out, producing at best mediocre results and at worst damage to the brand, reputation and profits. Doing the same old thing, expecting something better is not far short of wishful thinking. In this video we look at the importance of the Feedback Control Model in supporting the key elements of managerial success.
Feel free to request the templates laura@thehiddenedge.co.uk. I am happy to share.
1. Consider the Feedback Control model and how you use it in your business (in particular when setting objectives and establishing standards)
2. Recognise the difference between Monitoring and Evaluation
3. Use the template to consider what activities you monitor in your business and when you take time to evaluate activities and projects
Please do share your experiences with these models in the comments below. I am building a portfolio of small business case studies and would love to include examples of what has worked well for you.
