Ricardo’s Due Diligence
Due diligence is usually time constrained and can be frustrating when you think you have found the perfect business to buy or partner to work with. However, it is really important to ensure you have all your bases covered. You will use a solicitor to advise on the legal aspects and an accountant for the financial aspects but what about the rest?
Feel free to request the templates email@example.com. I am happy to share.
1. Recognise the seven elements in Ricardo’s Consultancy Group Due Diligence Model
2. Consider the pros and cons of each of the seven aspects in relation to your own business
3. Plot the outcomes in a Lewin’s Force Field Analysis
4. Create four POWER SWOT strategies to ensure the emerging business has a robust plan for success
Please do share your experiences with this model in the comments below. I am building a portfolio of small business case studies and would love to include examples of what has worked well for you.
