Adair’s Action Centred Leadership

According to John Adair there are three areas of ‘need’ present in managing your business.  There are:

The ability to achieve the business task, the maintenance of a cohesive team and the attendance to individual’s needs

  1. Use the following template to consider what you are or should be communicating, when and how you do this.
  2. Refer to Hertzberg’s Hygiene Factors for information gathering
  3. Plan your employee engagement reviews around all three areas for discussion.  Never ignore pay and conditions in your employee reviews.
