Weekly Smile – (TTC #741 & Blogtober #4)
Hello everyone! I’m back … it’s been a while, but Boyfriend and I managed to escape with Fred the Ted in Fran the Van, for an extended weekend away, to the Isle of Wight. I am not going to post loads of photos of us walking and laughing out loud; just in case I make my readers jealous! 😂
I do feel bad that the last weekly smile and 3TC I posted was four weeks ago. Further more, I managed to post just two blogs since then. I do feel bad but I’m definitely rejuvenated. 🥴
Over the weekend, I found and am now following, Christine – the Saxophone Player’s Wife, who’s offering daily #Blogtober prompts. Just the thing! Boyfriend and I are on Day 4 of the Whole30 detox. I’d been thinking about how to share our progress, so that we don’t fall off the wagon. Neither of us is fat, you understand, but both have added a few pounds over lockdown, both drink copiously and whilst I am a (Type 1) diabetic, Boyfriend, who’s the chef in this household, is fond of cooking with refined sugars. The plan is to reset our metabolism, and habits. 😇
The thing is … there’s a long list of banned foods of which, if you have just a single portion, you have to start again! 😫 Blow that! Only 26 more days to go …
