Waterfalls … – (Tanka Tuesday #310)
Its beauty belies
The harsh, unrelenting voice
Of a waterfall.
Feel, and beware its power
Gemini has two faces
(Tanka)

Poem prompted by Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday Challenge #310. This week, it’s the photo challenge … If you, too would like to join in click through for the rules, tips and future prompts. The photo prompt is with thanks to Terri Webster Schrandt.

Today, Boyfriend and me at the Cheddar Gorge Waterfall

Wonderful poem–so true about the power of the water! I love the pic of you with the waterfall in the background, spring melt makes them look so similar!

Thanks Terri – your photo is stunning – it’s amazing what a bit of sunshine can do to change the view of its power. We went to a spectacular waterfall in Japan – was tempted to add a video of it but … have run out of time!! 🤣
