On Frustration – (Six Sentence Story)
Let go of your fury
In dignified fashion.
The flip side of passion
Is frustration.
-o0o-
When you’re just plain angry,
Unbalanced, off kilter;
Remember to filter
Your responses.
-o0o-
Deny not the feeling,
Of injustice; instead;
Lean in and with clear head
Speak up your truth.
-o0o-
Rage not at any one,
Its a state that’s not right.
Take good care not to smite
Their self-respect.

This post is inspired by Denise’s Six Sentence Story – prompt FILTER. Click through with the links, if you, too, would like to join in … Sorry it’s so late! 😇

Sage advice, Laura. “Think before you speak” comes to mind however, when the emotional button’s been pushed, it’s often a challenge.
The image you posted reminds me of those rare times I’ve wanted to do that but don’t. I usually wind up screaming in my car along with blasting music instead 🤣
Happy you could make it to the Six 🙂

I like the sound of these lines: “Unbalanced, off kilter;
Remember to filter” They flow well.
