Wisdom – (Weekly Decima Prompt #45)
If you can’t tell what’s right or wrong,
Tis time to be big, brave and bold.
Stop the search for, what is, fool’s gold,
Note that your life won’t be so long,
If lured towards the siren song.
Finding your mind is in a whirl,
Release your thoughts, let them unfurl;
Sift the sand, pan for the nugget,
Pick out the gem – but don’t forget;
Without grit … there will be no pearl.

Thanks Henry – have to say that WHIRL in the C-line was quite a challenge. Took me ages to craft … 😆. You could say the poem reflects what was in my head yesterday.

I understand. I simply gave my subjective review of the poem. Nice piece.
