Stay Strong – Ch#32 (Just one thing)
Observe, in the mirror, her refection,
A woman … black … moreover … awarded.
Ignoring, the barbed jibes, of rejection,
Not rising, to assumptions, afforded.
“Conservatory” arts well, rewarded
This pretender, for her top position.
Despite distress, outside her volition,
When thought, as a precious minority,
Duck, not the hard fight, she must transition,
Stay strong. Hard work is the priority.

Chapter 32 – Summary from the Wisdom of Dambisa Moyo
The Post has been inspired by If I Could Tell You Just One Thing by Richard Reed.

Over the 62 days, in Dec and Jan, my challenge is to share the learning from each of the 62 chapters; hopefully in a poem, but who knows? Follow my progress with the #JustOneThing Tag
Happy to explore what you make of the post in the comments below? 🙂
