Davis & Seifert’s Facilitation Models

Continued inattention to process may lead to weakened or strained relationships between group members and decline in group effectiveness.  It decreases buy-in and ongoing support of decisions made by the group.  It reduces group energy, synergy, and enthusiasm. In this video we explore Davis’ full participation model and Seifert’s 6 steps of facilitation.

Watch the video to get the background information on Davis & Seifert’s facilitation models and feel free to request the templates via laura@thehiddenedge.co.uk. I am happy to share.

1. Recognise the three elements that create the right environment for full participation

2. Consider how you might adapt your business meeting environment to encourage full participation

3. Plan out the six steps to ensure you properly cover each in your meetings

Please do share your experiences with these models in the comments below.  I am building a portfolio of small business case studies and would love to include examples of what has worked well for you.
