Business Model Canvas
Osterwalder and Pigneur designed a one page plan for business modelling. The intention of this approach is to help businesses create or review their current model of working. It is based around nine building blocks, which are the backbone of every business: Customer segments, The business proposition, Delivery channels, Customer relationships, Revenue streams, Key resources, Key activities, Key partnerships and the Cost structure.

1. Recognise the nine elements in the Business Model Canvas
2. Gather your trusted advisers. Using post it notes to identify the business reality within each of the nine areas of consideration.
3. Now consider the strengths, weaknesses, the opportunities and threats within each of the nine elements.
