Sodden – (Tanka Tuesday Prompt #389)
winter winds; leaves drift
shrivelled, with no safe haven –
damned to be sodden.
(Haiku)
Haiku inspired by Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday Challenge #256. This week it’s to write a Haiku. If you too would like to join in, please click through for rules.
Laura – that last line brought a wry grin to my face – I enjoyed this 🙂
Thanks,

I like this haiku with the wet leaves imprinted on the sidewalk. Good imagery here. ❤

Haiku are hard to write. They really do take some thinking. It’s the contrast that gets everyone. Once you figure the connection betweent your two parts of the haiku you’re in there! ❤

Love the haiku. And the lovely main picture. Did you choose them and put them in a collage like that? Anyway, I love photo and words. Thanks.
