Weekly Smile – (3TC #629)
I missed last week’s weekly smile, indeed, I confess, it is two week’s since I posted any blog. So this week I have a lot of smiles to report, some more wry than others, of course … what has been going on?
This is me and the girlfriends on Sunday lunch time after a wonderful weekend of catch-up fun at Nikki’s brand new house with girlie giggles galore. The drive up on Friday was a bit of a nightmare, taking the best part of the day for each to travel from all four compass points. However, what a glorious place, Framlingham is. Set in Suffolk, we spent Saturday morning exploring this quintessential picture perfect market town, with its medieval castle backdrop. The sun came out too. 🤗

These narrow country roads with no pavements are very dangerous though. I slipped off the side of the tarmac on the way to supper at a wonderful country pub. I cracked a rib, bashed my cheek and snapped a tendon in my finger. One thing is for sure, my body doesn’t bounce quite like it would have done when we were all still at school! 🤕
It’s just over a week, and I am recovering, thankfully. Nevertheless, there has been scant time to write even if the body was up to it. A number of ongoing projects have collided in the last couple of weeks, and I’ve needed to step away from the computer for a while to get things organised. Hopefully, I will be inspired and fired up to pen a few more poems this week … 😇

The ribs seem to be easing but the finger is causing some angst. Typing with nine digits at the mo!! 🤣

I cracked a rib a few weeks back, rather uncomfortable but a rib brace helped. Snapping a tendon will probably take longer to heal. It is very hard to type with 9 fingers and I hope that your finger heals quickly.
