Weekly Smile – (3TC #601)

It’s been quite a week. First off, last Saturday, we all dressed up for the Streetwise HR Christmas party! To be fair … it isn’t Christmas and it was a high tea outside, so dressing up made for hats, coats, gloves, rugs and the occasional brolly. The weather wasn’t going to stop us, girls. It’s been a long time coming. Ta Dah! We each received our much awaited Secret Santa 🤶 – FYI … Mine was a headband. Thank you Secret Santa!

Then, there’s been the coaching catch up with Chris, two board meetings, one on line; a legacy of Covid restrictions, and the Streetwise HR one, in real life! Yay! 🤓 So glad to get back to some engaging real life discussions, now that enterprise is opening up again.

Of course, there was the mid week flying stop over with Mother, who is getting better slowly. I took her picture and requested a ‘Blue Badge’ for her for when she needs to get out and about. It was a pretty long, drawn out, process doing it online but … it was approved the following day and she should have it in her sticky little paws by now. 😇 Just in time for an optician’s appointment today – I do hope she got on ok!

PS – she isn’t driving herself yet! 🤪

  1. My Mum had a blue badge even though she didn’t drive. It was a godsend though if she was a passenger because we could park close to where we had to be.
    Thanks for the inclusions again.
