Weekly Smile – (3TC #400)

I am going to be open about this week’s smile challenge. Try as I might, it’s taken some time to find something worth sharing. Last week, was a mix of phews and lows, culminating in the clocks falling somewhere. It is that time of year! That extra hour’s sleep really doesn’t make up for the Seasonal Affective Disorder that sidles in surreptitiously right about now.

So let’s see what I have come up with:

  • The replacement shower door that closes so, so quietly now.
  • That mouldy patch in the lounge ceiling finally cut out, repaired and re-plastered.
  • The old pine bookcase now stained almost perfectly to match the new teak centre piece.
  • Step-Daughter got a job and will be moving back to Rotterdam before Christmas!

OK – that’s worth a big grin! Lovely that she is; there are too many cooks in my kitchen at the moment.

  1. Sorry there seemed to be a lot of lows last week, but all of those smiles were good. Little things, like shower doors that work, can make a huge difference. Happy your step-daughter got a job, moving out or not – that seems difficult right now. We are going to be doing that clock thing next week, November 1. It is always strange when we get out of synch for a week. I wish all of the countries would just coordinate it 😉
