Kettle – (Six-Sentence Story #125)
It all started with a shiny, new kettle. When sparks flew it was time for the olden to go to the big kitchen tip in the sky.
The thing is – there was a matching toaster, and bread bin which, when in place, made the kitchen look a tad shabby. So we replaced recessed lighting, and re-plastered the ceiling which meant painting and decorating throughout.
You know what happens when you stand back to admire the beautiful new look, white gloss on the kitchen door and its surround? Oh yes … the hallway is next on the overhaul list.

This was a great tale that made me laugh because it is so true! Which starts out as a simple purchase, evolves into a major remodel which could be a lot of fun, but also a lot of work and money involved. I hope they were delighted with the results when they were finished!

Isn’t that the truth? It all starts with a simple change, and before you know it, you’re knee-deep in a major renovation.

I get it! Doesn’t have to be anything big – can be as small as a shiny new kettle, lol Whenever a mirror gets held up to the “old” simply by introducing something new, all of a sudden our vision goes 20/20 😀
