SOLIDARITY (Ch#10: Just one thing)

Let not privileged power,

That wishes us to cower,

And stop human rights align.

When yours are the same as mine.

Stand up, be counted, be strong,

Speak out, against what is wrong,

Take note of the true headlines.

Fight injustice, of all kinds.

To negate disparity,

We need solidarity,

Together, we are stronger.

Dismiss now – the hatemonger.

Chapter 10 – Summary from the Wisdom of Shami Chakrabarti

The Post has been inspired by If I Could Tell You Just One Thing by Richard Reed.

Over the 62 days, in December and January, my challenge is to share the learning from each of the 62 chapters; hopefully in a poem, but who knows?  Follow my progress with the #JustOneThing Tag

Happy to explore what you make of the post in the comments below? 🙂
