Weekly Smile – (TTC #M70)
I can hardly believe that it has been so long that I have posted a Trent’s Weekly Smile, inc Di’s Monday Three Things Challenge. I’m hoping to get back into the habit.
I’ve been around the house decorating for several years, starting with the kitchen – which I have previously blogged about … now we have “touched up” the rest of the house, the kitchen is looking very flat and somewhat shabby. Doh! Here we go again.
Even though, this time we are going the whole hog (well maybe a piglet, as I am playing the recycling game). We have ordered new kitchen units. The old ones have, sadly, gone well past their sell by date!

Phase one is complete, having papered the breakfast room with a trendy jungle wallpaper. Straight up! We are already wondering when we will go … Doh! Why did we do that??? It’s definitely a seventies flash back … don’t you think?
With thanks to Di’s 3TC prompts: STRAIGHT, FLAT, EVEN
And Trent’s weekly smile … Do click through for the rules for either, if you too, would like to join in.

I think the title “The Never Ending Story” was inspired by house rehabs and updates…

Hi Laura! Thanks for joining in. It’s been a while. I can see you’ve been busy! We’ve almost finished revamping the bathroom and it’s been a long job as we lost almost a week waiting for some feedback from the shower tray manufacturer, then we had hospital appointments, then Hubby hurt his leg and my back issues have escalated. The new flooring went down today and all being well, we can finish it off over the next few days. Hubby has done a good job but it has taken a toll. Good luck with the kitchen revamp!

I know what you mean. The phrase ‘We only have to ………….’ or ‘All we have to do is…………’ are commonplace in DIY!!!
