It’s been a long time since we gave caution a long throw and took off for an impromptu escape. This weekend, Boyfriend spotted that there was a freestyle Jive dance at Axminster, just an hour from where we live. So we set off in Franny for the night. 🤗

Honestly, we had a lovely late afternoon supper, at the, super friendly, site before we set off in the sun with dance shoes tossed in our bags. It took me quite a while to transfer my swollen feet to my brand new dancing shoes. However, it did happen and it was great to get back onto the dance floor after such a long time skiving covid. 😃

Walking back unveiled a tad different angle. It was dark and rainy. Without pavements and light it was somewhat dangerous and soggily miserable! Nevertheless we made it back, played cribbage until we warmed up and then went soundly asleep!!! 😴
