Weekly Smile – (TTC #867)
I missed last week’s weekly smile – again. At this rate it will become a habit – if, that is – I am not too careful. I had thought that I’d have no end of fab photos and updates to share with you, but it turns out that I caught Covid and it has messed up all sorts of plans, including celebrating bestie’s 60th birthday and flying to Italy for the previously postponed England 6 Nations rugby match.
My dear gosh – what a palaver is has been filling in all the Covid related forms, contacting all the people I might have passed the lurgy onto and postponing all the rooms, tickets, and all other things on the slate for the very much awaited trip.
Luckily, I did get to celebrate Mum’s 91st birthday with her, my sister and her family at the end of January. We had been “in lockdown” for her 90th; it felt great to be together, this year.

Happy birthday to your Mum Laura. Lovely lady! Sorry you’ve been caught by the dreaded virus. Hope you are well on the road to recovery. Thanks for the inclusion today.

I’m three jabbed so it’s not been that bad. Just irritating being stuck inside AGAIN. Sure others feel the same.

Sorry you got Covid, but good that it isn’t bad. Still, the quarantine must be awful. Glad you were able to celebrate your mother’s 91st! That is a huge smile! My dad turned 89 a few days ago, on the 31st.

Thanks Trent – it was good to see her and the rest of the family. Shame about Italy tho! ‘Currently’ rebooked for April 🤣.
