Weekly Smile – (TTC #832)

Last year, Boyfriend and his boy bought season tickets to watch their favourite rugby team, Bath. It’s not been a good run for them so far. This included the Boxing day match when the team lost to Gloucester 20:40. To add insult to ‘player’ injury, the coach cancelled two further games due to positive Covid tests. That’s 12 games lost out of 12! 😳

As Dave’s boy is at sea at the moment off the Aberdeen coast, I thought I’d been offered a treat, especially when Bath scored the first three points of the match. How gullible am I?. The rest of the match seemed to take place either at the other end of the pitch or behind the inconveniently placed steel girder. Hey ho! 😉

It was nice, however, to step away from the hectic hustle and bustle of Christmas feasts and films for a few hours. What’s more, I had never been to Bath, the city, before. It’s perfectly lovely; I feel a plan evolving to visit with Franny for a few days soon and explore some more. Roll on 2022! 😊

Happy New Year All!
