Weekly Smile – (3TC #636)
Dear me! It has been a year; two broken hips, (Mum’s not mine) a cracked rib, a broken finger (mine not Mum’s) and a missing cat (adopted). I am now planning a trip to Scotland to pay respects to my lovely (ex) Mother in Law. I tease you not! 🥴
To distract my attention, this weekend, I tackled renovating my Nana’s Lloyd Loom style bedroom chair. I have to say, I am pleased with the outcome. The cost of renovating ran adrift, mind you, when I found my ancient sewing machine could not be repaired. Therefore, I needed to purchase a new one – not to mention the cost of paint and cushion materials. 🤪
Hey ho, I do love its original colour, with the light and airy seat cushion. When the chair takes its rightful place in the newly decorated guest room, it will look superb. 😊

Hi Laura!
Clever you with the chair.
I am sorry for your loss. Have a safe trip.

Thanks Di. Here’s hoping there are no changes to flying across Hadrian’s Wall from Bristol! 🥴
