Weekly Smile – (3TC #594)
I stayed with my Mother the whole of last week, thankful that whilst her recovery is nowhere near as simple as last time, her hip is beginning to mend. Between the family, her brilliant neighbours and ongoing clinical support, she’ll have little time to get bored in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, I left Boyfriend in charge of the landscapers; of course, with detailed written instructions to ensure they laid the new lawn in exactly the right way. I know, I know … I am very ‘sad’ but the last thing I needed was to come home to find it hadn’t been done to my exacting requirements. 🤪
He forgot one point, mind you, but, believe it or not, he did phone to check. Yay! I was delighted to arrive back on Friday night, to find the new lawn finally laid as wished. It’s been a long time in the planning. 🤗
To be fair, Boyfriend has a fair bit of work to do; so that the lawn settles enough to borrow a roller to lose some of the lumps and bumps. It’s somewhat unusual for me, but since it’s been sunny all day, I’m going to get the hose pipe out, next, and do my little bit. 🤣

How lovely! You have quite an ‘eye’ for landscaping!
