Weekly Smile – (3TC #545)
Sláinte – Boyfriend and I are getting in a groove now! So far this year, we’ve done Burn’s Night, St Valentine’s, St David’s and then, last week, we celebrated St Patrick’s Day. We had steak and ale pie with manually-made shortcrust pastry, Guinness soaked steak (of course), button mushrooms, carrots and lashings of red wine gravy. We washed it down with a Guinness on the side and a Jameson’s or ‘two’ afterwards. It was galánta, to be sure!
Out came the St Patrick’s Guinness hat that had been stowed away for far too many a year. More often than not, we’ve been out on the ski slopes in Europe this time of year, and this monster Paddy Cap is far too big to pack! Hey ho!
So once more we’ve made the best of lockdown with our own version of an Irish Craic. Now, we making plans for St George’s Day on the 23rd of April. Note to self … It’s always the last whiskey that makes a mess of the next day!!! 🤣

lol, glad you are enjoying your lock down! I have seen people skiing in hats almost that sized! Of course, not on the expert slopes, but…
