Weekly Smile – (3TC #517)
This week’s smile is a tad double-edged, bitter-sweet you might say.
I finally got Dad’s estate sorted, as his executor, and distributed it, according to his wishes. For those of you, who don’t know the background, it’s been a bit of a palaver. Whilst Dad did leave a will, he didn’t date it properly and what with having to communicate with every authority, bank, and financial advisor online, everything seemed to take forever. I had been getting a tad frustrated.
Then, I had this lovely bouquet of soap – yes; you did read that right! It is a little thank you present from my younger Sis, in appreciation. Apparently you simply put a couple of petals in the bath and you can soak all your troubles away. A perfectly befitted gift don’t you think? Clever girl, my Sis. 💜

Post inspired by Trent’s Weekly Smile. Do click through for the rules if you too, would like to join in.

And this post also includes Di’s Monday Three Thing Challenge #517, BEFITTED, BACKGROUND, DOUBLE. Do click through for the rules if you too, would like to join in.

A delightfully well thought gift. Appreciation is absolutely wonderful!

That’s unique and very thoughtful! Working through an estate is exhausting and a constant reminder of the loss and sadness (as if you need a reminder).

I’d like to do more or your 3TCs; but at least I can keep in touch on a Monday this way!
