We’ve been clad in our working clothes most of the week, doing our level best to get a few more of those chores struck off my list of things to do. We were making the most of the warmer weather before the beast from the East arrived at the weekend.

And brrrr! It’s a tad chilly – to say the least. So this weekend was pretty much snuggled up under the duvet with Skadi, our adopted cat as a foot warmer.

Excepting the odd nature call, she didn’t dare outside either.
