Weekly Smile – (3TC #496)
Remember last week, how I was hoping, optimistically, amongst other things, that the ensuite shower would be fixed? It wasn’t; and the plumber came back this morning for the third time. As he left, he grinned sheepishly … “I really hope I don’t see you ever again”. This afternoon, I have the builders in – there’s a hole in my roof Delilah, Delilah! You’ve got to laugh haven’t you?
In the last 12 months, I’ve had more than my fair share of leaks: the boiler, the hot water tank, a couple of radiators, as well as, the shower and, now the roof. That’s quite a few don’t you think? I’m just waiting for any one of of the white goods in the kitchen to spring forth. If that becomes, my eyes will leak too.
Anyway, lest you think I am only ever bemoaning my lot, thought I’d cheer you up with one of my many smiles during the week; my newly planted Winter flowering baskets. That’s another good job done.

Your baskets are lovely! Thanks for the inclusion Laura. Have a good week.

Thank you – It’s my little insistence to cheer up the bleak vegetable patches that I can see from my kitchen window, this time of year. 😇
