Weekly Smile – (3TC #440)
I have always chosen the first weekend of December to sort out the Christmas decorations. Every twinkling light, goes a long way to help ease the dark Winter nights that haunt my mood.
Even the tiresome task of disentangling the wretched Christmas tree lights can bring a smile to my lips, especially when listening to Michael Buble, Si Cranstoun and the Dualers Christmas albums.

Every tree ornament is a souvenir from a holiday, it is such a treat to remember happy times away, as we decorate. Sadly, we missed out on our trip to Italy this year but we chat about plans to go camping just as soon as weather and covid will allow, next year.
Rudolf has been part of our Christmas cheer ever since we first found him abandoned in the loft by, we presumed, the previous owners. We add the Comic Relief Red Nose and chicken George, who gets stuck in Rudolf’s antlers.
Ok! Everything is ready, ribbons tied, baubles balanced, time for the lights. ‘Awe’ we both mouth audibly, Christmas has begun!
