Weekly Smile – (3TC #433)
This week has been full of smiles. I can’t believe how many times we have had to move the lounge furniture this year. In out, in out; shake it all about. However (fingers crossed of-course) that’s it … we finished painting the ceiling that fell down a couple of months ago, and it’s looking great. Christmas decorations to go up next weekend.

Whilst I was touching up the odd bit of paintwork, I decided to have a go at the kitchen ceiling that we also had to have re-plastered due to the water tank leak. For some reason, my eyes would always stray to the wonky lines left by Bodgit Boyfriend, and that made me cringe. A happy sigh of relief, both rooms now looking hunky dory for a relaxing weekend.
Saturday afternoon, I spent two hours Zooming with my friends from school. We usually meet once a year in real life, to catch up (chuckling mostly over kids, grandkids, and cat antics). This year, we couldn’t fail not to discuss what is on everyones lips … how come Kathy’s family is the only one who’s been knocked for six by the virus when they live on the Isle of Wight. A tier one category … oh the irony … 🤣
And then, Sunday was sunny – hurrah! That meant a day in the garden, topping up the vitamin D, staking out plans for a Zen Garden and watching the robins dart from feeder to bath and return. Such a productive week and wonderful weekend – huge grin.
