Unwelcome – (Weekend Writing Prompt #163)

It wasn’t long before Bournemouths’ beaches nearest the two piers had filled with bodies of all shapes and sizes.  It was bound to happen, wasn’t it?  It’d been forecasted the hottest day this summer and with lockdown rules relaxing, many from the cities were feeling gungho.

Although … they may think twice, the next time the sun tempts a trip to the seaside.  Too many an unwelcome hour was spent stuck queuing to find a parking space.  Not to begrudge those ‘desperate’ in tedious lines for toilets. It seems serious cleanup needed.
