Hook – (Weekly Decima#99)

Sometimes life, just gets in the way,

Of the aims and goals you have made.

Yet, if on the path you had stayed,

There’d have been a keen price to pay.

Some may worry for your astray,

When you haven’t gone by the book.

Request to be let off the hook.

Blame it on the phase of the moon,

Or perhaps, that massive monsoon …

Self-trouncing is not a good look!

Post prompted by Ronovan’s Weekly Decima Prompt #99 – Hook in the C line. Click through for the rules if you, too, would like to join in …

And loving to have ‘finally’ linked to the Six Sentence Story Crew and Denise’s prompt “Book #201”. Kind of spooky they rhyme – don’t you think?

  1. Well yes! Sometimes it really is just happenstance, and a phase of the moon. Carry on and keep on keepin’ on.
Nice lines of encouragement, so welcome these days!
