For some it may not be a good idea,

To ignore instructions that have been supplied,

When you buy your furniture from Ikea,

(Or … any other flat-pack, DIY guide).

They are included to make your life less fraught,

And, in reality, you know that you ought,

Not to assume that you know best – how it goes,

As time spent reworking, can get up your nose!
